- The Texians are a family group of letterboxers. We're made up of Boots Tex, Lone Star Quilter, Wills World, and Fish Tree, as well as other family members who sometimes box with us. We were introduced to letterboxing by Lone Star Quilter's brother, El Lobo, and his wife Star Seeker, when they visited us on Thanksgiving, 2005. We've taken to it eagerly and now go letterboxing whenever we can. Although we box as Boots Tex and Lone Star Quilter, we are a family of letterboxers, so, as a family, our trail name is The Texians. We all have ancestors who were citizens of the Republic of Texas, so we carry the name proudly.
